Our ASB Officer talks about hate crime and how you can report it in this short video

Hate crime has no place in our communities. Everyone has the right to feel safe and we all have a responsibility to stand against hatred and discrimination.

MSV is an approved Hate Crime Reporting Centre, which means you can speak to us instead of the police, even if you are not an MSV resident. Our Community Safety Team has been trained to help support victims, submit police reports, help to prevent escalation and better understand Hate Crime and Hate Behaviour in our communities.

How to report Hate Crime or Hate Behaviour

You can call us 24 hours a day to report any incidents in strict confidence on 0161 226 4211. Our Community Safety Team will respond and provide updates and support.

Alternatively, you can email staysafe@msvhousing.co.uk or contact us via your MyMSV Account if you are an MSV customer.

You can also drop in to one of our Hubs to report it - find the community drop in times here

However, if a crime is taking place or someone is in immediate danger, please call 999

This week is Hate Crime Awareness Week in Greater Manchester and we're taking a stand against hate

Did you know over 88% of reported hate crimes in the North West are met with a conviction?

Hate crime has no place here. Please report it - you are not alone and there is support out there.
