Scheme Champion


 

We're looking for customers who are passionate about where they live and want to make a difference  

Scheme Champions carry out regular audits of the communal spaces and tell us how we are performing against our service standards. The purpose of this role is to empower customers. It promotes ownership and accountability as well as encourage and support customers in creating a clean and safe space to enjoy for all.

It gives our customers a voice in the decision making and the management of their living spaces and supports our Neighbourhood, Compliance and Services Teams by providing additional resources.

Role 

This is a voluntary role by one or two customers living in a block of flats. The role will focus solely on the communal areas and not individual flats or repairs.

The Scheme Champions will focus on the following: 

  • Identifying trip hazards 
  • Communal gates 
  • Car parking issues 
  • Service issues e.g., window cleaning, gardening, and communal cleaning 
  • Bin store 

Process 

  • Scheme Champions will complete a scheme audit form.
  • This must be done bi-monthly.
  • Each Scheme Champion will receive a £10 voucher for every completed form submitted.
