HMR Circle is a membership organisation for people over 50 or vulnerable adults who want to find new and unique ways to do more and to lead a flourishing life.
HMR Circle operate in Rochdale, Heywood, and Middleton and have a full monthly calendar with a whole range of exciting social events including lunch clubs, day trips, theatre trips, dancing, quizzes, concerts and much more taking place in different venues. They also offer:
Learning Sessions:
- Craft
- Technology and much more
Wellbeing Sessions:
- walks
- sequence dancing
- indoor bowls
- ten pin bowling
- low impact Zumba classes.
Practical help:
Local helpers who are all DBS checked are available for almost anything from sprucing up the garden to leading a hand with DIY around the house.
Volunteer Driver Scheme:
This service is for regular or 1 off journeys to social events, medical appointment, hair appointments etc. The cost to the customer is 45p per mile, which is paid to the driver at the end of the journey. All journeys are booked through the HMR Circle office, and all drives are DBS checked.
