In certain instances, you may have the opportunity to purchase your property. Find out more about your right to buy or right to acquire your property below.
Right to Buy
Most Housing Association tenants do not have the Right to Buy.
However, if you were a council tenant with a secure tenancy at the time your home was transferred to either Mosscare Housing Group or St Vincent's Housing Association, you may have the Preserved Right to Buy.
Right to Acquire
When you are ready to buy your property, this is possible for some tenants under the ‘Right to Acquire’ policy.
