Upcoming Changes to Our Repairs Service – What You Need to Know

We wanted to update you as we move to integrate our new repairs management system at MSV Housing.

On Tuesday 1st April 2025,  we will go live with our new system. This system will change the way we manage the flow of work within our property care team at MSV. The first phase focuses on Reactive Repairs.

Introducing the new repairs system will allow us to improve how we manage repairs being processed. We're dedicated to ensuring that your experience with us is as smooth and effortless as possible when requesting repairs and having them completed.


As we start the process of the integration there is, as with all new systems, a small impact on how we will be able to process repairs during this integration.

From Thursday, 27th March 2025 until Tuesday, 1st April, our service centre will only be able to process emergency repairs on our existing system to allow for all details to be fully transferred into the new repairs management system. Due to this, there will be a delay in processing any non-urgent jobs. 

Any such job reported either via phone or digitally will be collated and added to our new system from Tuesday, 1st April  2025, and contact will be made to confirm appointment dates throughout the rest of the week.

As part of our new repairs management, our text message system will be down and unfortunately will not be back running until 9th April 2025. This means that when making appointments we will be unable to send text messages to our customers to confirm appointment dates and times or send reminders the day before any appointments. Customers will continue to receive calls from the repairs planning team to confirm any new appointments and reschedules during this outage.

Please be assured that we will do our best to return to normal service as soon as possible, following the integration of our new systems.
