There has been a recent breach on the Manchester Move website which affects customers who are registered for rehousing in the Manchester area. Customers may have received a phishing email with links to a scam website and in some cases asking for bank account details. There has also been similar cyber attacks to the Bolton and Salford choice based lettings sites in the last week. Manchester Move would never send out such emails and as a precaution has now temporarily shut down the Manchester Move website. This means people will not be able to log into their accounts and bid on properties. If you have clicked on the link and given any details:-

- Contact your bank immediately (if you have given any bank details)
- When Manchester Move website is back up and running change your password
- Do not contact Manchester Move as they are unable to provide any more information than this
