This week, MSV's neighbourhood teams hosted a vibrant “Reclaiming the Narrative” event at the Jean Byers Hub in Bredbury.
The event was held in celebration of Black History Month, bringing together customers and community members for an afternoon of culture, connection, and culinary delights. We had a fantastic turnout!
We had the opportunity to sample delicious Caribbean food from local business owner Mama Flo, who runs a well-known eat-in/takeaway in Stockport. And we enjoyed live music from steelpan musician and local artist Ayeshah George (aka Zola).
Her captivating performance had everyone tapping their feet and enjoying the rhythm.
