Charlie has worked in the sector for over 30 years, across the North West and in Vancouver, Canada, with a background in community and co-operative development, neighbourhood management and regeneration.

Charlie is honoured to be CEO of MSV, having worked for the business for almost 20 years and committed to providing the best service possible for our residents. Charlie is also Vice-Chair of the Northern Housing Consortium, a trustee of Mustard Tree Charity, Chair of the Greater Manchester Housing Providers Group and proud to be Lead Officer for MSV's Board.

Working with a wide range of colleagues, customers, community and voluntary sector friends and partners, Charlie is a passionate campaigner for social justice and tackling inequality, hoping for inclusion, good health and opportunity for this and future generations.

Charlie is also a firm believer in building a great work environment where people can flourish with a focus on flexibility, agility and creativity. Charlie has an MBA, is a committed vegan and loves a good hike in the hills.

Steve has over 30 years of experience in Social Housing.  He started his career at KPMG in Manchester, eventually leading the Social Housing Practice across the North of England. For the past 12 years, Steve has held senior leadership roles within Housing Associations, most recently as Executive Director of Group Finance at the Calico Group. As MSV's Executive Director of Finance and Business Excellence, he is responsible for Finance, ICT, Business Planning, Assurance and Risk, and Performance and Business Improvement. 

Steve passionately believes that customers and communities should be the heart of decision making to ensure that we provide quality homes and services that make a real difference to peoples' lives.  He also believes in fairness and equality and that in order for people to thrive they should be able to bring themselves to work.  Steve is married with two grown up children, is a Burnley FC fan and loves a long walk and going to gigs.

As Executive Director for Customers, Matt is responsible for all customer services and ensuring they provide the best possible customer experience. The services in Matt’s area of responsibility include day to day and empty property repairs, keeping customers safe in their homes and all aspects of neigbourhood management including lettings, income management, community safety, our customer contact centre and complaints. In addition to this, Matt is responsible for our community projects and our independent living service comprising of later living, younger living and supported living. This includes corporate responsibility for safeguarding vulnerable adults and young people.

Matt is the nominated designated Executive lead for ensuring the Consumer Standards are met and this includes responsibility for customer voice and influence and how that is embedded in MSV’s service delivery. He also leads the Customers and Communities Committee, serves as the Vice-Chair of the Bolton Housing Partnership (Bolton Community Homes) and is a Director at Manchester Athena, a limited company established in Greater Manchester focussing on employment and skills.

A strong advocate for social justice and tackling enduring inequality, Matt has a genuine focus and commitment to focusing on customers,  delivering the best possible services and improving lives. Matt has worked in social housing for 25 years, has a strong reputation within Greater Manchester and the wider sector and is very keen to work with customers to affect the necessary changes to services at MSV.

Fiona is an experienced and knowledgeable property professional with a well-developed understanding of the Northern Housing Market. She has over 20 years' experience of working
across a range of disciplines, including Asset Management, Development, Sales and Private Sector Property Management.

For the past twelve years, Fiona has held senior leadership roles
within three North West base Housing Associations, most recently as Executive Director of Property at The Regenda Group, where she had overall responsibility for Group wide Asset Management, as well as being Managing Director of two of the Groups ‘for profit'
subsidiaries; Redwing, a £15m turnover Liverpool based property agency, developer and landlord; and McDonald Property Rentals, a commercial Estate Agency operating across the Fylde Coast.

Fiona is commercially astute and customer focused, driven by the challenge of providing a product which is both a valued home and a high performing asset.
